During a placement at Scale Model Studios I helped out on various aspects of a 1:40 scale diaroma of a typical British street.
I primed, sanded and painted window frames, door frames and walls, assembled the windows, textured the pavements, painted the road, helped flock the grass, dress the set with foliage, made gravel pathways, made curtains, and designed and crafted front doors. I then reproduced one of the doors in a larger scale for an additional animation set.
Many windows! The frames were laser cut and I prepared, painted and assembled them.
